3. Integrated YouTube Videos

a. Data Processing

We have integrated YouTube videos into our Website; these are stored on the YouTube platform and can be played directly from our Website. YouTube is a service of Google LLC. The videos are all integrated in "advanced privacy mode", meaning that data about you as a user is not transferred to YouTube if you do not play the videos. Furthermore, only a preview image loaded by our own web server is displayed.

Data is not transferred until you play the videos. We do not have any influence over data transfer in this case. Data is transmitted regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account via which you are logged in or whether there is no user account. If you are logged into Google, your data will be attributed directly to your account.

b. Purposes and Legal Bases

We use YouTube plugins on our Website to allow us to easily present videos to you.

The legal basis for processing these plugins is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 Clause 1 (a) GDPR. You give your consent by clicking on the "Play" button on the preview image.

If you give your consent, you have the right to withdraw it at any time without affecting the legality of the processing already carried out on the basis of consent until consent is withdrawn.

c. Further Information

Further information about data processing—in particular the legal basis and period of time that data is stored by YouTube—can be found in Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google. com/privacy) and the privacy banner on the YouTube platform. These sources will also give you more information about your rights and possible settings for protecting your privacy.

Google also processes your personal data in the USA—a third country without an adequate level of data protection.

4. External Services and Content on Our Website

Our Website does not use any mechanisms that automatically send information to social media service providers when you visit our Website.

Data is only forwarded to social media services such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram via links. This means that data about your visit to our Website or data on your device is not transferred to the respective providers until you intentionally click on the link.

II. Transfer of Data for Processing on Our Behalf

We sometimes use specialized service providers to process your data. We select our service providers carefully and check them regularly. They process personal data only on our behalf and strictly in accordance with our instructions based on corresponding order processing contracts.

To host our service, we use the cloud services of Adobe, 345 Park Avenue San Jose, CA 95110-2704, United States.

To analyze your usage data, we use the services of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States.

III. Processing of Data Outside the EU/EEA

Your data is also processed in countries outside the European Union ("EU") or the European Economic Area ("EEA"). Please be aware that not all third countries offer a level of data protection that the European Commission considers adequate. Where data is transferred to third countries in which the level of data protection is not adequate, before the data is transferred, we ensure either that the recipient offers an adequate level of data protection (e. g. the recipient has self-certified for the EU-US Privacy Shield or EU standard contractual clauses have been agreed with the recipient) or that we have obtained the explicit consent of our users.

We can provide you with a copy of the specifically applicable or agreed regulations that ensure the level of data protection is adequate. Please use the details in section C to request a copy.

IV. Storage Period of Your Personal Data

We store your personal data only as long as it is necessary for the purposes for which it was originally collected.

Your personal data is processed for the purpose of sending you our newsletters until you withdraw your consent..

B. Your Rights

The applicable data protection laws grant you the following rights:

Right of access:The right to obtain information about which of your personal data we process and certain other information (such as that specified in this Privacy Policy) and the right to obtain a copy of this data.

Right to rectification:If your personal data is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to have it rectified.

Right to erasure: On the basis of the "right to be forgotten," you can have your personal data erased unless we are legally obligated to retain it. The right to erasure is not an absolute right. For example, we have the right to continue processing your personal data if such processing is necessary to fulfill our legal obligations or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

Right to restriction of processing:This right includes restricting the use of data or the way in which data is used. This right is limited to specific cases and arises in particular if: (a) the data is inaccurate; (b) processing is illegal and you object to your data being erased; (c) we no longer need the data, but you require the data in order to assert, exercise or defend legal claims. If processing is restricted, we may continue to store the data, but not use it. We keep a list of any persons who have exercised their right to restriction of processing in order to ensure that this right is respected.

Right to data portability:This right entitles you to receive your personal data for your own purposes in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, where technically feasible.

Right to object:You have the right to object to your personal data being processed on grounds relating to your particular situation, provided that the data is processed in the public interest or on the basis of reconciling interests, including profiling. If you exercise your right to object, we will stop processing your personal data unless we can provide compelling reasons that override your interests or processing your personal data is necessary in order to assert, exercise or defend legal claims. If we process your personal data for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object to your data being processed for this purpose at any time; this also applies to profiling to the extent that it is related to such direct marketing.

Right to information:You have the right to be informed about how we process your personal data in plain and intelligible language.

Right to withdraw consent:If you have consented to us processing your personal data, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect the legality of the processing already carried out on the basis of consent until consent is withdrawn.

If you would like to exercise your rights, please direct your request to the contact person mentioned in section C.
